Klamath Falls police shot and killed a man Friday in an incident that also wounded a 4-year-old child, Oregon State Police said, but they declined to say who injured the child.

Klamath Falls police responded to a “domestic disturbance” in the 900 block of East Main Street just after 9:30 a.m. after a person requested a welfare check, state police said in a news release.
