City of North Bend release - Boardwalk Bubbles Opens in Downtown North Bend - New mother–daughter shop highlights importance of shopping local and investing in Main Street.  NORTH BEND (Oregon) — Downtown North Bend is welcoming a new small business to Sherman Avenue with the opening of Boardwalk Bubbles LLC, a mother–daughter-owned self-care shop at 1950 Sherman Ave.  The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening, joined by Chamber ambassadors in their signature red vests and community members who turned out to support the new venture. Guests were treated to cookies from The Cookie Barn, which added to the festive atmosphere.  Boardwalk Bubbles offers a wide range of handcrafted self-care products, including bar and liquid soaps, pocket and novelty soaps, bath bombs, bubble scoops, bubble crumbles, shampoo and conditioner bars, body butters, balms, shaving products, lip balms, and more. Many of the items are designed as affordable gifts and stocking stuffers, making the shop a timely addition for the holiday season.  “Boardwalk Bubbles is exactly the kind of business that brings life and character to our downtown,” said Stephanie Wilson, Downtown Main Street Manager for the City of North Bend. “Every time someone chooses to shop here instead of online or out of town, they’re helping keep dollars in our community, supporting local jobs, and building a stronger Main Street.”  The new business is also giving back through a Marshfield High School vs. North Bend High School school-spirit soap fundraiser, in which 10 percent of all school-spirit soap sales are donated to each school’s athletic department.  “Local business investment is critical to the health of our downtown,” Wilson added. “When entrepreneurs open their doors in North Bend, they are making a commitment to our community. In return, our community can support them by stopping in, making a purchase, and spreading the word.”  Wilson encouraged residents and visitors alike to make Boardwalk Bubbles part of their regular shopping routine.  “If you haven’t visited Boardwalk Bubbles yet, this is your invitation,” she said. “Come down to Sherman Avenue, meet this talented mother–daughter team, pick up a few gifts or something special for yourself, and help us keep downtown North Bend vibrant and thriving.”  Boardwalk Bubbles is now open for holiday and year-round shopping:  Boardwalk Bubbles LLC, 1950 Sherman Ave, North Bend, OR 97459, Phone: 541-630-0454, Email: [email protected], Online: www.boardwalkbubbles.com/s/shop, Facebook: facebook.com/BoardwalkBubbles
