This month’s submissions all were handed down in families, including a fine set of Reed & Barton sterling flatware, a carnival glass bowl, and a print that hung in a lawyer’s office. Two pieces of more recent furniture in classic styles reminiscent of earlier eras complement these interesting family keepsakes.

This sterling silver flatware set is the “L’Elegance” pattern, made by Reed & Barton of Taunton, Massachusetts.
