A special weather statement was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 7:41 p.m. until 9:45 p.m. for Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
"Dense fog is reducing visibility to as low as one quarter of a mile for the city of Pendleton and one half of a mile in the city of Walla Walla along Highway 12 this evening. The fog could continue reducing visibility through Friday late morning. Expect rapid reductions in visibility over short distances, slow down and allow extra distance between other vehicles on the road," says the weather service.
