Petunia was crowned as the winner of the 2025 'World's Ugliest Dog' contest with her handler Shannon Nyman by her side.

Among our many other attributes, Oregon is apparently a great place to be from if you’re competing in “The World’s Ugliest Dog” contest. As was announced Friday, Petunia, a 2-year-old, hairless English-French bulldog mix from Eugene, earned a victory in the 2025 “World’s Ugliest Dog” contest.

8/8/25 - LCSO Case 25-3694 - Springfield robbery suspect arrested Just after midnight on August 6th, Lane County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to an area hospital where a victim of an attempted robbery had been dropped off with a gunshot wound. Deputies learned two men attempted to rob the victim at his home in the 2000 block of Harbor Drive, Springfield, at gun point. After additional investigation, Baker was arrested on the Lane County Sheriff’s Office case and lodged at the Lane County Jail on the following initial charges: - Attempted Robbery in the 1st Degree - Assault in the 2nd Degree - Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle He was also lodged on a Parole Violation detainer.
