One of the best viewpoints for Whale Watching is right here. Starts December 27th!🐋 Whale Watch Week is almost here, and it is one of the most memorable times to visit Oregon’s Adventure Coast. Thousands of gray whales will be making their way south just off the Oregon Coast, giving visitors the chance to spot spouts, breaches, and other rare sights.

📍Knowledgeable Oregon State Parks volunteers will be stationed at designated viewpoints, including Shore Acres State Park, to help visitors find and identify the migrating whales from 10 am - 1 pm December 27–31, 2025.

If you cannot make it in December, the whales return in March during their spring northbound migration. Learn more: https://orwhalewatch.org/ Featured News by Friends of Shore Acres State Park
