At our January 12 City Council Meeting, we recognized grant recipient The Pili Group. They are one of the 19 local nonprofits that received funding through the Outside Agency Grant Program, which supports efforts to build a connected, equitable, and thriving community.

The Pili Group is a nonprofit organization founded in 2016 in Tualatin to respond to the growing need for a women’s support group within the Latino community. Their mission is to empower women by providing a safe, Spanish-speaking environment where individuals can heal from anxiety and trauma and improve their physical and mental health. Services include therapeutic support, targeted trauma and anxiety recovery, and creative and physical activities such as macramé, Zumba, guitar, and art classes. While The Pili Group primarily serves the Spanish-speaking community, they are open to the public and strive to foster a diverse and inclusive space where all women in Tualatin can thrive, build resilience, and find joy in self-expression and movement.

Thank you for the work you do, The Pili Group.
