Today, we recognize the team working behind the scenes to keep Lower Umpqua Hospital District secure, connected, and running smoothly.

Much of their work happens quietly, often before anyone realizes there's a problem to solve. From supporting clinical teams and troubleshooting technology issues to protecting critical systems and maintaining the infrastructure staff rely on every day, our IT team helps ensure patients receive the care they need without interruption.

Since 2020, the team has supported major initiatives across the organization, including telehealth expansion, implementation of MEDITECH Expanse, Microsoft 365 and Teams migration, cybersecurity enhancements, network upgrades, and ongoing technology support for hundreds of users across LUHD and partner agencies.

Their work touches nearly every corner of the organization: • Supporting 335 onsite users, 106 remote users, 25 departments, and 12 outside agencies • Maintaining clinical, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and communication systems • Strengthening cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and emergency notification capabilities • Managing workstations, networks, servers, phones, Wi-Fi, and other essential technology

Thank you to our IT team for helping keep our staff, patients, and systems connected every day. Your expertise, dedication, and problem-solving make a difference throughout our organization.
