Description
Each year, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue (SAR) team every year have a tradition where the members bring an unwrapped gift for a child to be donated to the Children’s Advocacy Center.
In 2023, 5K Bark and Landscaping asked if they could help by opening their doors to the public to donate toys at their location in Newport. Our SAR team appreciated their help in making that Christmas a little bit brighter for children in need.
In 2024, the Newport Officers Association really stepped up and donated toys to this cause and delivered those to 5K Bark and Landscaping. With their help, we were able to deliver two large loads of toys to the Children’s Advocacy Center to be able to hand out to children in need in our communities.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue team would like to thank Newport Police Officers Association and 5K Bark and Landscaping for their help in this toy raising effort. Thank you for helping make the holidays brighter!
