Become Our Future.

The Hillsboro Police Cadet Program is more than a volunteer opportunity. It is a hands-on way for young people ages 15 to 20 to serve, grow, and explore a future in public safety.

Cadets complete a 12-week academy, then step into real experiences like:
- Ride-alongs with patrol officers
- Community engagement events
- Traffic control at major events

Along the way, you will build leadership, communication, and decision-making skills grounded in Dignity, Respect, Service, and Just Outcomes.

Many cadets go on to careers in law enforcement. Others take these skills into different paths with confidence and purpose.

College scholarship opportunities are available.

Applications close April 27 at 3 PM
