On November 12th, at about 8pm, officers responded to a traffic crash between two vehicles at E Main Street and NE 53rd Avenue. Upon arrival, officers learned that one of the drivers had fled the scene on foot. The other driver was transported to the hospital by Life Flight helicopter and is expected to survive their injuries. Officers located the alleged fleeing driver in a nearby apartment complex. Dustin Sparks (33) was arrested for Felony Hit and Run and Assault 2.
