Klamath County Club: Revitalized, Legacy Driven, and Livestock Millionaires

District Governor Chris Waugh visited the Klamath County Club at the Ross Ragland Cultural Center at noon on Thursday, April 30th. President Ken Morton greeted him at the door, and the pair prepared eight awards for presentation.

After a COVID setback, the club has been revitalized by leadership. They have reignited traditions, energized members, and embraced change to move confidently into a vibrant future.

Two major service projects stand out. The FFA Livestock Auction brought in 1.7 million dollars in sales. The second project, Klamath Cares Klamath Reads, was started 90 years ago. First-grade children get to choose their own book in a backpack to take home. That is a remarkable legacy.

A short video clip from that evening's combined Klamath clubs social captures the connection and spirit of camaraderie. Thanks to Lexi McNair for taking it.

Lexi also shares quick selfie videos on her Facebook profile, reflecting on what it means to be a Rotarian and the inspiration she finds along the way. It is an idea all of us could easily try.

The Klamath County Club sends greetings across District 5110.
