Powers, OR - On August 15th 2026, a Coos County Timber Deputy was dispatched to a report of an assault at the Secret Hole Campground near Powers, Oregon. The deputy conducted an extensive investigation over several days.  
  
On August 22nd, 2026, the suspect(s) and their vehicle were located in Bandon. As a result, Christoper D. Hernandez (46), Jeffery D. Pike (37), and McKayla L. Christian-Brotton (34) were all arrested on the charges of Robbery II, Assault III, Kidnapping II, and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.  
  
The trio was transported to the Coos County Jail, where they were booked on the respective charges and remain in custody.

Lakeside, OR - On August 23rd, 2026, at 3:34 a.m., the North Coos Dispatch Center received a 911 call of a disturbance that had just occurred in the 200 Block of North 8th Street in Lakeside, Oregon.  
  
A Sheriff’s Deputy investigated the case, and after an investigation, Nicki A. Martisko (53) was arrested on the charge of Domestic Harassment.  
  
Mr. Martisko was transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and remains in custody pending a court appearance.

Coquille, OR - On August 21st, 2026, at 10:00 p.m., a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on U.S. Hwy 42 near Dillard Drive just outside of Coquille for a traffic violation.  
  
During the traffic stop, it was learned that a passenger in the vehicle, Harley J. Lee (26), was in violation of a court order by being in the same vehicle as the operator, who was a protected person in the court order.  
  
As a result, Harley J. Lee (26) was arrested on Violation of a Court Order (ORS 135.290 Contempt of Court) and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked.
