Bandon’s cross-country teams ran well at the Umpqua Opener, Wednesday, Stewart Park, Roseburg. Roseburg took first in both the boys and girls team races, but Bandon’s boys were second and the Tiger girls were fourth. North Bend’s girls were third, while the Bulldog boys took eighth. Individually, North Bend’s Ellie Massey was first over the 5K course (20:47.39), while teammate Addison Horning was third (21:20.37) and Bandon’s Giada Moore fifth (22:22.20). Noah Brown led Bandon’s boys in fifth (18:27.74), and he was followed by Beckett Pahls (18:41.14) and Jonah Brown (18:44.54).
