Anderson Avenue Sidewalk Project between S. 3rd Street and S. 4th Street  
The City of Coos Bay has contracted with Johnson Rock Products, Inc. to perform the work activities associated with this project. Work will begin on May 4, 2026, with anticipated completion by May 29, 2026.   
Work will occur along the south side of Anderson Avenue between S. 3rd Street & S. 4th Street and will include Asphalt concrete pavement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, sidewalk improvements, ADA ramp improvements, trees, tree grates, tree removal, miscellaneous demolition work, and other miscellaneous items.  
Construction hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Motorists and pedestrians should expect delays, intermittent access restrictions, and construction-related noise during work hours.  
Motorists should expect delays and are advised to use caution and follow flaggers/signage in work zones.
