NEW: SATURDAY S.T.E.A.M. AT THE COOS BAY LIBRARY

The Coos Bay Public Library is happy to announce a new program: Saturday STEAM from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Saturdays. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, but mostly it means having fun while making, building, creating, and exploring together.

Each week features a different hands-on activity. You might try a science experiment, make a craft, solve puzzles, tackle building challenges, build with LEGO® bricks, or play games that get you thinking and creating.

For our first event the theme will be Ready, Set, Solve! Enjoy a fun mix of puzzles and hands-on challenges in the Children's section at the Coos Bay Public Library!
Drop in anytime during the program to solve puzzles, crack brain teasers, create colorful rubber band designs, build pictures and shapes with wooden pattern blocks, or test your skills with fun logic games. There's something for every age and ability.

Explore, create, and solve together! This relaxed, family-friendly program lets you drop in, try as many activities as you'd like, and enjoy them at your own pace.
Upcoming programs will include Game On! (August 8), Sun Science: Discover UV Light (Aug 22, registration required), and LEGO Brick Hour (August 29). Featured News by City of Coos Bay
