đź‘’ 100 Years of Historic Fashion 1849-1949 | May 15 đź‘’

100 Years of Historic Fashion 1849-1949 begins at 6 p.m. on May 15 at The Natty Dresser. Fashion historians Kay Demlow and Oscar Hult will explore a century of fashion in Albany’s Historic Districts through photos, period clothing, and reproduction pieces.

Clothing tells a story. It can show us how people worked, celebrated, traveled, and presented themselves through changing times. This Preservation Month event offers a stylish look at Albany’s past, from practical details to period flair.

A suggested donation of $5 benefits the Albany Downtown Association. Plan your visit and bring someone who loves history with a good hat.

Heading to the Hillsboro Air Show? Help us keep the skies safe.

Federal Air Marshals will be working alongside local law enforcement throughout the event to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. As part of the Transportation Security Administration, these federal law enforcement officers help protect airspace safety and security.

During the air show, Air Marshals will be using drone detection technology to identify unauthorized aircraft operating in restricted airspace. Unauthorized drone activity can create serious safety risks for pilots, performers, and spectators.

You may see Federal Air Marshals in uniform working with local public safety personnel during the event.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work together to keep this a safe and fun event for the entire community.
