In 2025, our Support Services team of seven continued to provide essential public services including civil process, public records requests, fingerprinting, sex offender registration, and evidence management while implementing some improvements.

Here are a few highlights from 2025:

- Implemented a new digital concealed handgun licensing system (Permitium), replacing decades of paper processing and providing the option to apply, renew, schedule, and pay online.

- Participated in major community events, including National Night Out, Shred Day, and school outreach to teach students about evidence handling and crime scene processing.

- Renewed 685 concealed handgun licenses, issued 209 new concealed handgun licenses and 431 short term rental licenses.

- Completed 678 fingerprinting services.
