The Portland Winterhawks come out on top of an offensive game, beating the Kelowna Rockets 6-4 with a 4-goal 2nd period. Josh Zakreski had two goals in the 2nd, then converted an empty-netter in the 3rd for the hat trick. Portland gets a split of the Wednesday-Friday 2-game series with the Rockets.
