Meet the Owner
Friends don't let friends get scammed! ๐ค We see this one all the time on our free event posts, so let any creatives in your life know not to fall for it.
The idea is this:
1. Scammers reply to event posts with some variety of "We have vendor spots available", asking users to message them privately about selling their products at an event.
2. Scammers collect payment for pretending to register people for vendor spots
3. Creators lose money and gain nothing
Coos Bay Library will never solicit your money in this way. Stay aware and help spread awareness, especially to artists in your life or others looking to promote their small businesses!
