Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month Martial Arts & Culture Showcase
Join us at Vancouver Mall for a special AAPI Heritage Month celebration featuring live martial arts demonstrations, cultural performances, and family-friendly community entertainment celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander cultures throughout Clark County.

This event is free and open to the public.
This community showcase will highlight the athleticism, discipline, traditions, and cultural impact of martial arts within the AAPI community while bringing together local schools, organizations, performers, and community groups for an afternoon of connection and cultural appreciation.

Featured Guest Instructor: Sifu Malia Cropper
Among the featured martial artists participating in this year’s showcase is Sifu Malia Cropper, owner and head instructor of Camas Martial Arts & Fitness, a new female-owned martial arts gym opening in Camas, Washington.
She is a 5th Degree Black Belt in Kajukenbo, 2X World Champion, athlete member of the United States Martial Arts Team, one of the head coaches of Team Pacific Reign, and a 2017 USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee.
Represented Martial Arts Groups:
United States Martial Arts Team (USMAT): The United States Martial Arts Team (USMAT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to coaching and developing the most talented martial artists from across the country, preparing them to represent Team USA at national and international competitions, including the World Martial Arts Games.
Pacific Reign Martial Arts Team: Local Washington Sports Karate team, made up of top athletes in the Pacific Northwest region.
Camas Martial Arts & Fitness: Woman-owned traditional martial arts school in Camas, WA offering Kajukenbo and Sport Karate for kids, teens, and adults.
Eternal Kung Fu: Traditional Chinese martial arts school located in Vancouver, WA, offering classes in Kung Fu and Tai Chi training for kids 6 and up, teens, and adults.
