Description
OCVA release - The Annual People's Coast Summit is the one time all year that coastal tourism professionals gather to discuss trends, compare successes, and learn from each other. Join these tourism professionals, community partners, and coastal leaders from across the Oregon Coast in Lincoln City, October 13-14. This year opens with Robert Kentta of the Siletz Tribal Council and Chanel Hason of the Elakha Alliance, on the work of bringing sea otters back to the Oregon Coast and what that means for the tribe and for coastal tourism. Workshops cover destination marketing, stewardship, partnerships, and where coastal tourism is heading. Dinner will include sea shanties! The Summit runs campus-style, so workshops happen in venues around Lincoln City rather than one ballroom. You'll get to know the town while you're there. Registration closes September 29: Full Summit, both days: $161.90 (includes Event Brite fee); One day, October 13: $90; One day, October 14: $60. Go to the website to register.
