Two schools in Canby are closed for the day and evacuation orders remain in place Wednesday morning after an explosion at an industrial facility rocked the small city the previous day, officials say.
The explosion happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, blowing the roof off Kittyhawk Manufacturing’s building and triggering “Level 3 – Go Now!” evacuation orders for people near the facility, Clackamas County officials said in statements on social media.
