Description

Bruce Campbell, an electrical engineer and not the actor, lives in a retired Boeing 727 parked in a forest outside of Hillsboro. Police say a shooting happened near the plane on the morning of March 29, 2026, while Campbell was out of the country.

Officers from half a dozen law enforcement agencies swarmed a remote stretch of Washington County early Sunday morning after a shooting near a famous airplane-turned-home south of Hillsboro left two injured and two others in custody.
