Description
Two people died Monday night after a semi-truck lost control and collided with an oncoming car on U.S. Route 26 near milepost 74 in Wasco County, Oregon State Police said.
Dagoberto Moreno-Prada, 31, of Eugene, was driving a semi-truck hauling a 53-foot intermodal container on U.S. Route 26 when he lost control while navigating a corner at about 9:16 p.m., according to the Oregon State Police’s preliminary investigation. The semi-truck and trailer rolled and slid into the opposite, westbound, lane.
