Description
Preliminary results from the May 19 primary were announced Tuesday as voters weighed in on numerous key races and measures, including choosing state Sen. Christine Drazan as the Republican nominee for governor and rejecting a measure that would have raised statewide gas and transportation taxes.
Statewide, voters also reelected the sitting labor commissioner. Oregon’s six U.S. House members and one of its U.S. Senate members all won their primaries as well.
