28 Oregon high school football teams eligible to play down a classification in 2026

McMinnville's offense lines up for a play during the game between Lake Oswego and McMinnville on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023 at Lake Oswego High School. McMinnville is one of six football teams in Class 6A eligible to play down in Class 5A next fall.

The football ad hoc committee of the Oregon School Activities Association began its series of meetings for the 2025-26 school year and released the list of teams that are eligible to play down a classification next fall.
