A hard foul during a weekend WNBA game has spilled beyond the basketball court and into the political arena after Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier suggested players could face criminal charges if similar incidents occurred in his state, intensifying an already heated debate involving player safety, race and transgender athlete policies, Yahoo! reported.
