Description

Bay Area Hospital is the only medical center on a 150-mile stretch of the Oregon coast where a patient can deliver a baby, receive advanced cardiac care or undergo chemotherapy.

The only large hospital on Oregon’s coast, situated in the heavily Republican district encompassing Coos Bay, received a financial lifeline from the Legislature this month.
