On December 17th, 2025, James Holmes and Abby Dorsey were sworn into their new positions as Patrol Sergeant. Sergeant Holmes joined the Sheriff's Office team as a Community Services Deputy on July 13, 2020, and promoted to Patrol Deputy October 1, 2021. Sergeant Dorsey joined the Sheriff's Office team as a part time Marine Cadet on July 31, 1992, and has fulfilled many roles during her years of service with the Sheriff's Office. Congratulations to both of these individuals on their successful promotion.Photos from Lincoln County Sheriff's Office - Oregon's post
