Description

Created by Ann Elizabeth Bills in 1861 after one of her husband's employees suggested she bring to Portland what the city lacked on the Fourth of July, the Bills Flag has stood as a symbol of Oregon history ever since. 165 years later, it still flies proudly.

For 165 years, the first U.S. flag flown in the state of Oregon has seen exactly what time does to fabric.
