Description

Gov. Tina Kotek in early January greeted the remaining 100 Oregon National Guard members who were returned to state control after being demobilized from federal control at Fort Bliss in Texas.

In a brief order Tuesday, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals granted the Trump administration’s motion to dismiss its appeal of an Oregon judge’s injunction blocking the deployment of National Guard troops to Portland.
