The scene around 7:45 p.m. outside the ICE facility in South Portland on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025 after President Donald Trump announced he was sending in federal troops.

Tumbleweeds would not have seemed out of place around the ICE building in South Portland on Sunday morning.
