All-vegan mushroom cafe brings ‘coffee’s cooler cousin’ to downtown Portland

Customers can choose from seven different mushroom powders. The Dusted Cup, 727 S.W. Naito Parkway, serves a full menu of functional mushroom beverages. Stacey Propst started Shroomdust, a line of mushroom-based drink mixes, around five years ago as a way to wean her family off of coffee. The Dusted Cup, 727 S.W. Naito Parkway, serves a full menu of functional mushroom beverages. Customers can order a mushroom brew made with cacao, or they can add the powder to a matcha latte or smoothie. Baked goods sold at The Dusted Cup are also made with mushrooms. A mural inside The Dusted Cup outlines the health benefits associated with various functional mushrooms. The Dusted Cup, 727 S.W. Naito Parkway, serves a full menu of functional mushroom beverages. Along with mushroom drinks, The Dusted Cup also offers a fully vegan breakfast and lunch menu. Baked goods sold at The Dusted Cup are also made with mushrooms. Stacey Propst loves mushrooms so much, she said, she puts them in everything — even the drinks and dishes you wouldn’t expect.
