Amid heat wave, some Portland outdoor pools will stay open for longer

The Peninsula Pool in North Portland, which has struggled to maintain consistent temperatures with the pool’s water heater throughout the summer, will remain open until Sept. 5 amid the heat wave. Creston and Pier pools will also remain open.
