Police said the suspects used a sledgehammer to break into a jewelry display case at a Washinton Square Mall Kay Jewelers (file photo).

An armed robbery turned into a multi-agency pursuit on Saturday evening after two men allegedly smashed a jewelry case at Washington Square Mall, then fled into Washington State.
