Firefighters battle a blaze at the long-abandoned Centennial Mills warehouse on Northwest Naito Parkway in Portland on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026.

Preliminary air tests after the Centennial Mills warehouse fire on Sunday show a “low risk” of asbestos exposure to the people living near the burned-out building on Naito Parkway, city officials said.
