CCSO release – Date/Time: March 23th, 2024, around 11:33 pm; Case #: 202400007208; Classification: Assault in the Fourth Degree; Location: Bowron Road, Lakeside; Suspect(s): Joseph Perry (40); Summary: Prompt Response Leads to Arrest in Lakeside Disturbance; Coos County Man Charged with Assault. On March 26th, 2024, at approximately 11:33 pm, Coos County Dispatched received a report of a disturbance on Bowron Road in Lakeside. The reporting party alleged that Joseph Perry (40) hit another male with a flashlight. Deputy Z. Smith was already patrolling the Lakeside area, which resulted in a quick response. When Deputy Smith arrived on the scene, he observed physical injury to the victim and located Mr. Perry inside the residence. Mr. Perry was detained and placed in the back seat of Deputy Smith’s patrol vehicle. After Deputy Smith concluded his investigation, Mr. Perry was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and processed for Assault in the Fourth Degree.
