Description
Today is the first day of school for many children in Oregon. In the Bay Area, both the North Bend and Coos Bay school districts will have students arriving at school at different times this week to start the 2025/26 School Year. Motorists are reminded the speed limit in a school zone is 20 mph. Both Coos Bay and North Bend police plan on having extra patrols in the school zone areas to start the school year.
