SEX ABUSE ARREST | ADDITIONAL VICTIMS SOUGHT – On January 17, 2026, 23-year-old Cedric Valdez was arrested inside Target at the Sunset Esplanade on multiple counts of Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree, and other charges. These crimes occurred over a period of several months in Hillsboro as well as other locations in Washington County. We want to thank the brave women who came forward to report the incidents to police. Multiple victims have been identified in this case, but it is believed there are more who have not yet come forward. Valdez is alleged to have approached females in large retail stores, parking lots, and near storefronts in shopping centers.
