On Wednesday at 2:44 p.m. a beach hazards statement was released by the National Weather Service valid from Thursday 9 p.m. until Friday noon for South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast.
"Moderate risk of sneaker waves expected," describes the weather service. "High tide on Friday morning may cause additional risks."
