OSU release - CORVALLIS, Ore. – Paige Brandt has joined the Oregon State women's soccer coaching staff, Head Coach Caroline Kelly announced on Tuesday. "We're thrilled to welcome Paige to our staff. Her track record of developing goalkeepers speaks for itself, but it's her commitment to growth, education, and building a positive, competitive and team-oriented environment that truly sets her apart," Kelly said. "Paige brings a level of detail, purpose, and care to everything she does, and I know our goalkeepers—and our team as a whole—are going to benefit tremendously from her leadership." Brandt joins the Beavers after three seasons at WestCliff University in Irvine, Calif., where she designed and led all goalkeeper training sessions for the Warriors' nationally ranked NAIA program. She played a pivotal role in developing Kayli Cokley, who ranked No. 1 in the NAIA for goals against average (0.14) and No. 2 for save percentage (.938) during the 2024 season, helping the program to the second round of the NAIA National Tournament. In 2022-23, WestCliff won the CAL PAC Conference Tournament on its way to the program's first ever appearance in the National Tournament. During her time in Irvine, Brandt also mentored Kieara Fontanilla, who played with the Philippines National Team at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup and Ana Martinez, who signed a professional contract in the Spanish second division. "I'm honored and incredibly excited to join the coaching staff at Oregon State," Brandt said. "This program is built on being competitive and team-centered, which makes OSU a fantastic fit for me both as a coach and as a person. I look forward to playing a role in its continued growth and am excited to get to work. Go Beavs!" While coaching at WestCliff, Brandt also worked with the men's and women's goalkeepers at Long Beach City College. Under her guidance, Abraham Ramirez was named South Coast Conference Goalkeeper of the Year and MVP after posting 0.77 goals against average, leading his team to its first ever Final Four Appearance. With the women's team, Jackie Garibay allowed an average of just 0.63 goals per game, also earning South Coast Conference Goalkeeper of the Year honors. Before joining the college coaching ranks, Brandt worked with goalkeepers for LA Surf Soccer Club (Torrance, Calif.), United Soccer Club (Loveland, Colo.) and Thompson Valley High School (Loveland, Colo.). As an athlete, Brandt played four seasons at Colorado State, which included a standout junior season that featured 51 saves in 14 appearances, ranking fifth in the Mountain West Conference for saves during conference play. As a senior, she held a save percentage of 78.9, making 15 saves across eight appearances. The Torrance, Calif., native graduated from Colorado State with a degree in communications in 2018 and completed her master's in 2019.
