This year’s theme is "Create & Celebrate a Nation of Diverse Readers," and the Coos Bay Public Library is happy to help in the efforts to foster a lifelong love of reading in children, promote literacy, and build community by bringing kids, educators, and families together around books. Come and help us celebrate Read Across America in Coos Bay with hands-on crafts, games and cupcakes on March 5th from 4-6 p.m.! Students from Marshfield High School will provide activities and games and we will have free books for attendees under 18!
