The Blackberry Arts Festival returns to downtown Coos Bay on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23, 2026.  This long-running, juried arts and craft festival celebrates local and regional artists during the peak blackberry harvest season.  Event Highlights:  Arts & Crafts: Browse booths featuring metalwork, jewelry, quilts, candles, hand-painted clothing, carved wood, wine, and more.  Food & Drink: Vendors offering blackberry-themed treats, plus the Blackberry Jam concert stage with live music at Central Ave & 3rd Street.  Beer Garden: 7 Devils Brewing Co. sponsors the Blackberry Jam beer garden.  Family Fun: Kid-friendly atmosphere, free admission, and community activities.  Schedule & Location:  Street Fair & Vendors: Central Ave, between Hwy 101 and 4th Street, Sat: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Sun: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Blackberry Jam Concert Stage: Central Ave & 3rd Street – weekend live shows, including Family Mystic (Fri, Aug 21) and Marty O’Reilly (Sat, Aug 22).  Blackberry Recipe Contest:  When: Drop-off 10 a.m.–11:30 a.m. on Sat, Aug 22; judging noon; winners announced 1:30–2 p.m. Rules: Must include blackberries; recipe must be large enough for six tastes; include a copy of the recipe with source credit.  Prizes: Aprons and cutting boards for winners.  Tips for Visitors:  Arrive early for the best vendor selection and music lineup.
