Description
CAM release - The 2026 Breakfast Fundraiser will follow the same format as previous years and will take place on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 7:30–8:30 a.m., while the Student Biennial is on exhibit at the museum. The museum’s Art Education Department provides youth programming across Coos County, including Coos Bay, Bandon, Coquille, Myrtle Point, North Bend, and Powers. With limited art education available in county schools, particularly before high school, the program helps fill critical gaps and supports all students, especially those interested in creative fields such as design, animation, and emerging technologies. The museum invites supporters to save the date, participate as donors at hosted tables, and attend the breakfast to enjoy program updates, conversation, and an exhibit of student artwork. Guests typically contribute $150–$200, with options to donate in advance, at the event, or jointly with others. Funds raised in 2026 will support ongoing youth art programs, including museum art activities, expanded outreach throughout Coos County, and scholarships to help cover participation costs. The expanded outreach aims to increase access to art education beyond Coos Bay.
