With the abysmal snow season this year and what the federal government has dubbed a “snow drought,” it might be tempting to skip your annual winter Mount Hood visit. Like so many Oregon skiers and snowboarders, I have been forced to watch the weather cameras for hints of snowflakes heralding a snowstorm that could kick the 2025-26 season into gear.
