Josie Osborne, British Columbia's Minister of Health, told reporters on March 17, 2026 that more than 400 U.S.-trained health professionals have signed on to work in British Columbia over the past 10 months.

British Columbia is ramping up its aggressive campaign to lure American doctors and nurses north, and officials say the strategy is already paying off with high interest in Oregon and Washington.
