Canby officials asked residents and businesses near 301 S Redwood St. to evacuate Tuesday afternoon because of a โ€œpresumed gas explosion.โ€

A Clackamas County alert system issued a Level 3 - Go Now evacuation for the area immediately surrounding the Redwood Street address just after 4 p.m., Tuesday warning of โ€œhazardous materials.โ€
