North Bend voters are invited to an Oct. 8 candidate forum featuring all four City Council candidates. The event is free and open to the public.  North Bend voters will have an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates seeking three seats on the North Bend City Council during a community candidate forum on Thursday, October 8, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.  The League of Women Voters of Coos County is presenting the forum at the North Bend Public Library, 1800 Sherman Avenue. All four candidates seeking election to the City Council have agreed to participate:  Mary Jo Golder; Jenny E. Jones; Garrett R. King; Susanna Noordhoff.  For voters who live within the incorporated City of North Bend, the forum provides an opportunity to become more familiar with the candidates seeking to serve on the City Council.  Audience members may submit written questions for the candidates during the forum. The League asks attendees not to wear campaign clothing or buttons inside the venue.  Can't attend in person? The League plans to record the forum and make it available afterward through its website.  The League of Women Voters of Coos County describes its candidate forums as a nonpartisan voter-service program intended to help residents learn about candidates and encourage informed and active participation in local government.  Event Details:  When: Thursday, October 8, 2026, 6:00–7:30 p.m.; Where: North Bend Public Library, 1800 Sherman Avenue, North Bend; Who: Candidates for three North Bend City Council positions.  Admission: Free and open to the public.  For additional information, visit the League of Women Voters of Coos County website.  This event is presented by the League of Women Voters of Coos County.
