Description

The National Weather Service released a winter storm watch at 9:21 a.m. on Monday valid from Wednesday 5 a.m. until Thursday 5 p.m. for North Oregon Cascades, Cascades of Marion and Linn counties and Cascades of Lane County.

"Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 10 to 18 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph," comments the weather service. "Latest guidance suggests the heaviest snow accumulations are forecast over the Cascades from Marion to Lane counties."
